On the tenth anniversary of Elle & Riley, we welcomed a hundred friends of the brand to Casabella for the first look at The Language of Cashmere: A Lexicon—saxophone drifting through the room, cocktails in hand, familiar faces gathered under one roof.
This was where The Lexicon came to life. Twelve words, twelve contributors, and a decade of cashmere, brought together in one room, for one night — each word paired with a never-before-seen campaign image, chosen to reflect what that word has come to mean to us over the past decade.
For Elle and Yolande, the evening was also a personal marker of everything the past ten years have built— sharing the love of cashmere through timeless pieces that could be worn and treasured every day.
Ten Years, One Evening

A Room Full Of Friends
Guests arrived dressed in their own way, favourite pieces worn with a personal sense of style — cashmere, layered differently by everyone who wore it, each making it their own.

The Night, In Moments
Copies of The Lexicon sat on the main table at the bar, open for guests to read at their own pace.
Later in the evening, our DJ took to the space with a saxophone, setting the mood for the rest of the night.

Designed to Be Savoured
Bespoke cocktails and canapés were passed throughout, finishing with a dessert designed to capture the feeling of cashmere itself — soft, and unhurried.

Ten Years On
Evenings like this one are the reason we do what we do — not for the occasion itself, but for the room it brought together, and the decade of cashmere it took to get there.
