Meet Emma, our Newmarket Store Manager. At the helm of our flagship store, her sense of style exudes confidence and finesse, so we wanted to find out more about what makes her tick... 

 How would you define your personal style?

My personal style can’t really be defined. I think it's always a work in progress! I like to dress comfortably, but also not look the same as everyone else! I love taking timeless pieces from luxury and ethical brands, and pair these with funky vintage pieces. If I do buy new, I try to focus mainly on supporting New Zealand brands. Its really hard to find things that match my personality so I enjoy the hunt! 

What’s the best piece of styling advice you have been given?

Don’t look at a size tag! Wear what feels and looks good without focusing too much on the small stuff. It could ruin the fun of going out shopping! 

 What do you love most about cashmere?

Its versatility! Its light, breathable, and just looks fab! You can dress it up, dress it down and you never want to take it off. 

Favourite coffee destination near your store?

Little and Friday is a top pick for me! Great coffee, cool vibe and the bread is so good! Its a little walk away, but our Newmarket hub is a really cool spot to walk through! It’s hard not to spend money on the way there. 

What is your favourite E+R piece from the latest winter collection?

The Italian Cable knit range!! It is so beautiful and soft I have never felt anything like it. The fact that the garments are all hand knitted makes it very special. These are done in very classic colour-ways so there is something for everyone!
